Executive Vice President of Healthcare/ Hospital Executive Leader
Boys Town National Research Hospital (BTNRH) Omaha, Nebraska

Boys Town National Research Hospital (BTNRH) is seeking a visionary hospital executive to serve as the senior clinical and operational leader for our nationally recognized hospital, outpatient clinics, and psychiatric services. This executive role offers the opportunity to lead a missiondriven organization dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of children and families across the country.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the successful candidate will set and execute the strategic direction for BTNRH while ensuring exceptional quality of care, operational excellence, financial stewardship, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Executive & Strategic Leadership
Lead and execute the longterm vision and strategic plan for BTNRH in alignment with organizational priorities.
Establish short and longterm goals across hospital, clinic, and psychiatric service lines.
Serve as a trusted leader, reporting out to the senior leadership team, Board committees, and community partners.
Clinical & Operational Oversight
Provide executive oversight of medical staff, clinical operations, nursing, and administrative services.
Ensure delivery of highquality, patientcentered care across all settings.
Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
Healthcare & Leadership Management
Recruit, develop, and retain highperforming healthcare leaders and senior executives.
Direct and evaluate Division Directors and department leadership.
Promote interdisciplinary collaboration and transparent communication.
Quality, Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure full compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and licensing requirements.
Oversee quality assurance, patient safety, infection control, and risk management programs.
Support and collaborate on clinical research initiatives.
Financial Stewardship
Provide executive financial oversight, including budget development and performance monitoring.
Ensure efficient use of resources while supporting growth and innovation.
Partner with finance leadership to ensure sustainable operations.
Governance & External Relations
Prepare and present healthcare matters to Board and committee meetings.
Represent Boys Town and BTNRH in the medical, academic, and healthcare communities.
Maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelors degree in Business, Healthcare Administration required or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in a healthcare organization.
Proven success leading complex healthcare organizations, including: Multidisciplinary teams Large operating budgets Regulatory and accreditation environments
Preferred
Advanced degree in Health Care Administration, MBA, MD, or PhD preferred.
