Responsibilities and Duties
Leadership and Team Management
- Provide strategic leadership for program operations that aligns services with the organizations mission, vision, and values
- Lead team meetings to review program performance, address emerging needs, and improve service delivery
- Conduct individual check-in sessions with supervised staff to support professional development and performance goals
- Promote a positive workplace culture that centers wellness, equity, and collaboration
- Review and update programmatic policies and procedures to align with equity goals and participant needs
Individual Supervision and Staff Development
- Conduct weekly individual and team check-ins with staff to track progress on goals and deliverables
- Organize weekly staff meetings to clarify roles, responsibilities, and priorities
- Provide harm reduction and trauma informed capacity building and training as well as technical assistance to all staff to strengthen service delivery and promote equity and consistency among all programs
- Lead program trainings and develop onboarding materials for new staff, volunteers, contractors, and partners
Program Operations Planning and Reporting
- Monitor and evaluate program deliverables, grant objectives, and reporting requirements to ensure timely and accurate grant/contract reporting by creating monthly written narrative reports and preparation of programmatic content for grants and funding opportunities
- Assess participant needs through direct observation and collaboration with staff to ensure services are being delivered equitably
- Draft program narratives based on service provision, participant feedback, and program plans to support the leadership team in developing funding mechanisms to provide participant-centered services based on the needs of the communities we serve.
