Qualifications

  • Academic Qualifications: An advanced university degree (Masters degree or equivalent) in management, law, international relations, political science, development studies or related fields, is required.
  • Academic Qualifications: A first-level university degree in similar fields in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree..
  • Language: English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat.
  • Language: For this job opening, English and Spanish are required.

  • A minimum of five years of progressively responsible professional experience in project or programme management, administration, or a related area, in a national and international context is required.
  • Experience: Work experience in the design, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of multi-country technical assistance projects addressing human trafficking and migrant smuggling is required.

  • Work experience on the development of technical assistance tools combating trafficking in persons and smuggling of migrants is desirable.
  • Experience within the United Nations system or a similar international organization is desirable.
  • Experience in data analytics or related area is desirable..
