Job Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Mobilize and facilitate community groups (Community Engagement) to own the development process
Educate and mobilize community to have desire to address their respective needs
Facilitate community to come up with their own development plan
Build up communities capacity to be able to address their needs properly.
The progress, development and behavior change of the community is closely monitored, analyzed and report accordingly/ take necessary action
To find the best way and develop proper system towards team synergy especially within respective core team
Provide technical support within core team clustered areas
Conduct review workshop for partner health checklist and action plan development
Community Based Originations or Groups are formed with proper community and partner engagement within the targeted area
Information about the organization, organizations mission and its purpose are delivered and explained to the local administrations authorities, community, LNGOs, in a timely and persuasive manner.
Advocacy meetings are conducted at the beginning of every project
Identify potential partners or opportunities and initiate to set up partnership system
Mentor community to be able to have proper learning and reflection system including child sponsorship monitoring system
Develop community development goal and action plan
Apply updated monitoring system for activities, data collection, data compilation and prepare TP report
Primary and secondary data are effectively taken, thoroughly analysed and transformed into quality information within the given time frame.
Required reports are submitted to respective department, Area Development Program Manager, TP coordinator as scheduled.
Monitor and assist community to achieve community goals based on their own action plans.
Facilitate community to develop community-based monitoring system TFE application (Horizon)
Act as an agent to duly improve the missions strategy, provide regular feedback, reporting and participate in team meetings
Regular program, TP learning and reflection are duly and thoroughly documented and report back to respective parties as necessary.
Give suggestions that would assist in improving ministrys tools as necessary
Positive & effective cooperation and collaboration among the team and stakeholders
Regular teams sharing and planning meeting
Sponsorship project is effectively and efficiently operated without compromising its guidelines and quality within the targeted area
All financial and non-financial (GIK) related are properly documented and followed the standards and guidelines set by World Vision Myanmar and World Vision International
Facts and information requested by CSC is provided as and when necessary with a quick turn around
Visit/ meet in person to all registered children and report the findings accordingly within a period of every three months.
Take necessary actions regarding registered child within 24 hours (for emergency) and within a week (non-emergency) depending on report status by volunteers.
KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
Two years experiences in the field of related job are desirable.
University bachelors degree in any discipline is essential
Community mobilization, facilitation skills and formation of community-based organization.
Skills in planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, leadership, team management and organization.
Good knowledge, skills and experience in (Health: MNCH & WASH/ Education/ Resilience and Livelihood/ Child Protection) sector and Sponsorship program
Proper community and partner engagement.
Willing to subscribe to WV core values and core documents.
Basic knowledge in financial accounting.
Willing to serve the poor and work with the community.
Interpersonal skills, team building and negotiation.
Basic knowledge of computer. ( MS Words, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom Application, etc.,)
