Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For th is job opening, English is required.   • A minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in executive, administrative, coordination, or operational support functions, including roles requiring a high degree of discretion, confidentiality, and interaction with senior management, partners, or external stakeholders and other Executive officers, is required. The minimum years of relevant experience is reduced to five (5) years for candidates who possess a first level University degree. Demonstrated experience in coordinating schedules, preparing briefing materials, managing information flows, and supporting leadership decision-making is required. Experience working within the United Nations common system or similar international organizations or governmental, academic, or research institutions is desirable. Experience supporting administrative, financial, human resource, or logistical processes, including personnel and budget-related matters, is desirable. Experience with diplomatic community, high level government officials and other key partners and stakeholders such as private sector, civil society organizations is desirable. One (1) year or more of experience in data analytics or a related area is desirable.
