Qualifications

  • A High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For th is job opening, English is required.   • A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in geospatial information, analys is, mapping, data visualization, information management or related areas is required. The minimum years of relevant experience is reduced by two years for candidates who possess a first level University degree. Experience with database programming languages (Python, SQL) and/or web GIS platforms is required Proficiency in GIS softw are (e.g., Arc GIS, QGIS), remote sensing tools, and spatial databases is required. Experiencing in data modeling and database management is desirable. One (1) year or more of experience in data analytics or related area is desirable.
