The Boys & Girls Club of Brattleborois seeking anExecutive Directorwho envisions themselves at the helm of a mission-driven organization that strives toenable all young people, especially those who need us the most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
The Board of Directors is seeking a strategic thinker to manage our operating budget as the organization embarks on a substantial capital project.
The Executive Director is responsible for managing all development, communications and community relations efforts, including strengthening capacity and diversifying funding resources while strengthening community and board engagement.
While our Operations Director manages day to day functions, The Executive Director will provide oversight of our downtown teen center and our two licensed child care programs. Locations include:
- State-licensed child care program operating out of the Retreat Farm in Brattleboro
- State-licensed child care program operating out of Westminster Central School
- Downtown teen center, providing unique enrichment programs for 11 to 18-year-olds in our own 8,000 square foot facility, including an indoor skate park
Responsibilities of this position demand exceptional skills in fiscal oversight, grant management, fundraising, staff & community relations. Our next leader will also require a strong knowledge of non-profit management, and Board engagement.
The Executive Director will work closely with The Board of Directors and Boys & Girls Club of America to ensure compliance with governance policies and national membership requirements.
