The Executive Director (ED) is the chief executive officer of the Literacy Council of Alaska and is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and operational execution of the organization. The Executive Director ensures that LCA fulfills its mission, operates in compliance with applicable laws and funding requirements, maintains financial sustainability, and delivers high-quality literacy and adult education services to the Fairbanks and Interior Alaska community.

The Executive Director exercises independent judgment and discretion in carrying out the duties of the position and serves as LCAs primary organizational leader, community representative, and staff supervisor.
