Overview:
Maintain Participant Profile Screens with personal information received from various sources such as the participant, alternate payee and beneficiaries. Review, research and solve data inconsistencies.
Job Description:
- Image correspondence into Fund database for processing.
- Keep a daily log of all faxes, Certified mail, Priority mail, Express mail and hand deliveries.
- Research all mail returned to the Fund using various sources such as AFM website or Accurint.
- Input Beneficiary Information on Participants Profile Screen.
- Copy/Scan incomplete information from periodicals. Research in AFM website and Accurint in order to complete data input into Pension System.
- Customer service – respond to telephone calls.
- View, add and modify Participants Profile Screen.
- Process corrections of Annual Covered Earnings Reports. Corrections may include social security numbers, last name, first name, middle name, and date of birth.
- Identify and analyze data that needs to be corrected.
- Research Reports from Managers and find new Participant information to update
- Conduct research on possible new deaths found with 3rd party vendor
- Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
- High School Graduate required, Associates degree preferred
- 2+ years of working experience in an administrative, customer service or other related position
- Detailed-oriented
- Ability to analyze and evaluate statistical data.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite/O365, PDF applications
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Written and verbal communications skills.
