About the position

Listen First Project (LFP) serves as a backbone organization for 500+ organizations dedicated to bringing Americans together across divides to build understanding, trust, relationships, and solutions. We are seeking a Measurement and Learning (ML) Partner Lead to support organizations in adopting and using the Social Cohesion Impact Measure (SCIM), a pluralism-tailored measurement tool that gives organizations the capacity to measure, report and gain insight on the impact of their work. SCIM was developed by LFP in 2021 in collaboration with partner organizations in the bridging divides movement, and has since been adopted by over three dozen organizations. The ML Partner Lead plays a key role in supporting the organizations who currently use SCIM and in onboarding new SCIM adopters.

This is a great opportunity for individuals who both enjoy directly supporting partners and feel at home with data, stats, and spreadsheets. The ML Partner Lead will have an opportunity to work with countless inspiring practitioners in the pluralism field, while enhancing skills in partner development and data communication and serving a field working to bridge divides and foster a pluralist society.

Responsibilities & Activities

The ML Partner Lead, in collaboration with LFP’s Executive Director and its Director of Impact and Evaluation, will:

  • Introduce and onboard new organizations to the SCIM tool,working with organizations to determine if SCIM is the right measurement tool for them.
  • Set up individual organizations’ tailored SCIM which is built on Google products
  • Provide ongoing support to organizations in using SCIM, understanding the data it analyzes and troubleshooting issues with their tool.
  • Work on related team efforts to aggregate, analyze and communicate field-wide data collected by SCIM.

Qualifications

The ML Partner Lead will:

  • Have completed a B.A., B.S. or equivalent.
  • Have coursework in statistics and comfort in explaining basic statistical concepts (e.g. statistical significance, confidence intervals).
  • Be detail-oriented and at home with spreadsheets and spreadsheet functions.
  • Enjoy directly supporting partners
  • Have familiarity or a keen interest in the fields of pluralism and bridging across divides as well as in the value of measuring impact.
  • Be a highly organized self-starter.
