Reporting to the Director, NYDIS Food Bank & Humanitarian Hub (HUB NYC) Partnership & Volunteer Manager will lead all external relationship-building, government relations, food and humanitarian donors, procurement of cultural and religious goods and food, and volunteer coordination activities. This position is responsible for cultivating partnerships to ensure a continuous, culturally appropriate, and mission-aligned supply of food and essential goods for distribution across New York City. This role is an intersectional position designed to expand the reach and sustainability of the HUB NYC and future staff expansion in these key areas. The ideal candidate is an established leader in NYC, relationship-driven, highly organized, entrepreneurial, and deeply aligned with NYDIS interfaith and equity-centered mission. HUB NYC is NYDIS partnership with Islamic Relief USA (IRUSA) and other nonprofits.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with the NYC faith-sector, government, donors, houses of worship operating food pantries and clothing distribution and other grass-roots community-based organizations across NYC seeking to strengthen the Hubs distribution network.as well as volunteers to support the HUB.
  • Identify, recruit and formalize new faith-based and community partners to address growing unmet needs.
