BRAC USA operates in a hybrid work environment. This role is primarily remote, with periodic in-person engagement required in New York City. Candidates located in the New York metropolitan area are preferred to support periodic in-person engagement.
About the Position
After more than half a century of impact at scale, BRAC is deeply committed to creating opportunities for people to realize their potential. BRAC is looking to raise awareness of its work and values among key stakeholders in strategic markets across North America, particularly through hightouch inperson and digital events. To support this effort, BRAC USA has created a new role to shape, manage, and steer its growing events portfolio.
This role shapes how BRAC USA shows up externally through events. The Manager will collaborate with BRAC USAs Communications, Individual Philanthropy, and Partnerships teams to design meaningful, wellorganized experiences that reflect BRACs values. These events will engage and strengthen relationships with key partners, donors, and stakeholders, ensuring that these stakeholders experience positive, memorable interactions with BRAC.
The Manager will bring the vision and strategy for these engagements to life. They will oversee the hands-on elements of planning, logistics, vendor management, and execution. BRACs event work in the U.S. is relatively new, and the Manager will oversee an exciting expansion in 2026.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver strategic, in-person events (c. 40%)
- Lead up to four in-person, medium-sized events each year, including donor receptions, BRAC USA annual convenings, partner roundtables, and region-specific engagement events.
- Collaborate with colleagues, leadership, board members, external partners, and vendors to ensure every event aligns with BRACs brand, advocacy, stewardship, and fundraising goals.
- Manage all facets of execution, from planning and guest recruitment through run-of-show and post-event follow-up, ensuring each gathering is purposeful, polished, and builds lasting connections that advance BRACs mission.
Support community-based and peer-to-peer initiatives (c. 20%)
- Partner with the Communications and Individual Philanthropy team members to plan and coordinate peertopeer fundraising initiatives, including community-based activities such as walks, runs, campaigns, or other supporter-led events.
- Provide logistical and branding support, support development of participant materials, and ensure events are consistent with BRACs visual identity.
- Track participant engagement and share insights that can strengthen future efforts for the broader BRAC network.
Produce partner- and donor-focused webinars (c. 20%)
- Work in close partnership with BRAC and BRAC International communications teams in Dhaka and field offices to co-design and deliver at least four webinars annually. These sessions will highlight highdemand topics and give donors and prospects access to program and technical experts across Africa and Asia.
- Coordinate content development, scheduling, speaker preparation, audience recruitment, and pre- and postevent communications to ensure a highquality experience.
Support Individual Philanthropy salon dinners (c. 10%)
- Collaborate with the Individual Philanthropy team to plan and deliver smallscale donor-facing engagements, including dinners and cultivation events.
- Oversee logistics, support guest communications, and deliver onsite coordination to ensure an exceptional experience for attendees.
- Align event storytelling, materials, and environment with BRACs brand and fundraising goals, and support thoughtful followup to deepen donor engagement.
Oversight of events strategy and systems (c. 10%)
- Build and strengthen BRAC USA’s annual event calendar, aligning it with BRAC’s global events calendar, and wider organizational needs.
