Greenbelt has an opening for an enthusiastic professional for the full-time seasonal position of

Land Steward Technician.

Core Responsibilities and Scope

• General maintenance of Greenbelt properties, including but not limited to trail work,

field and trail mowing, sign installation, property clean-up, boundary marking and other

work as directed;

• Support upkeep of Greenbelts headquarters building and grounds at the Cox

Reservation and Becker Center in Essex

• Assist with invasive plant control initiatives;
• Assist with special event planning, set-up and management, occasionally on

weeknights and weekends;

• Assist with a variety of conservation biology focused initiatives like Osprey and

grassland bird programs;

• Perform other tasks as directed
