This is a systems-building role, not a passive coordination position.

The People Recruitment & Performance Lead will implement structured recruitment processes, onboarding workflows, performance tracking systems, training coordination, documentation management, and exit processes for volunteers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage volunteer recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Implement and maintain structured onboarding workflows
  • Maintain volunteer records and documentation
  • Oversee training workflow implementation
  • Build and maintain a centralized training resource library
  • Observe team performance and recommend capacity-building support
  • Implement structured exit management processes
  • Lead and guide People Assist volunteers
  • Escalate operational or people-related issues appropriately

Required Tools (Basic Proficiency)

  • Google Workspace or Microsoft 365
  • Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel (basic tracking and reporting)
  • Zoom or Google Meet
  • Trello or Notion (basic workflow tracking)
  • Email communication tools
