Apex serves approximately 2,500 students annually from Kindergarten through their post-secondary years. We provide children and young adults with opportunities to develop strong relationships with adults who volunteer as consistent and caring mentors and role models.
POSITION SUMMARY
Apex is seeking multipleMentoring Managersto lead school-year mentoring programs serving eithermiddle school or high school youthacross ourLower East Side,Manhattan and Sunset Park, Brooklyn sites. These programs pair young people with trained adult volunteers through a blend of one-on-one mentorship and group programming focused on youth well-being, community engagement, and academic and postsecondary success.
Mentoring Managers are responsible for program implementation, staff supervision, volunteer engagement, and youth support at their assigned age group and location. This role reports to the Associate Director of Mentoring Programs and works closely with youth, program staff, volunteers, schools, and internal support teams.
Openings may be available across multiple sites and age groups.
