Full Job Description

Performs a wide variety of routine maintenance and janitorial services on ECS Headquarters building, including fixtures, furniture and equipment, as well as serve as back up for ECS Operations Receiving Clerk. DUTIES SUMMARY Performs a wide variety of routine maintenance and janitorial services on ECS Headquarters building, including fixtures, furniture and equipment, as well as serve as back up for ECS Operations Receiving Clerk ESSENTIAL DUTIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Performs basic plumbing repairs, carpentry work including furniture repairs and shelving. Repairs appliances and kitchen equipment, minor electrical repairs such as repairing fuses, replacing fixtures and installing electrical outlets where wiring already exists. Evaluates, prioritizes, assigns and follows up on ECS work orders on a daily basis as it pertains to the ECS Headquarters building; responds positively and quickly to requests for assistance by other members of staff. Sets up and breaks down conference room furniture and AV equipment in accordance with requests at the ECS Headquarters building. Moves furniture, equipment and supplies. Paints interior and exterior surfaces, patches walls as needed. Cleans roof, removes debris, cleans gutters and makes minor patches. Washes buildings and walkways using power washing equipment. Maintains tools and equipment in good working order, requests supplies as needed. Conducts routine cleaning of ECS Headquarters building as well as emergency spills, trash removal, etc. and maintaining the building hazard free. Serves as a back-up for the ECS Operations Receiving Clerk; receives all shipments, validates contents and logs data in CII receiving database. Organizes and sorts out orders for delivery to ECS Sites ADDITIONAL DUTIES Other duties and special projects as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE One year of carpentry, painting, plumbing, custodial or related experience. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS Possesses a valid driver’s license and state-required auto insurance, or reliable transportation depending on business needs. Spanish / English bilingual preferred. Ability to handle confidential information. Maintains patient privacy, including protecting the confidentiality, safeguarding the integrity and availability, and limiting the use and disclosure of patient Protected Health Information (PHI) to authorized individuals and entities. Participates in, conducts, and sustains performance quality improvement activities according to designated role and responsibilities. Sensitivity to service populations cultural and socioeconomic characteristics. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Punctual and dependable attendance. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS None required. COMPUTER SKILLS Must have working knowledge of Office 365 programs in a Windows environment. NOISE LEVEL Loud noise REQUIRED TRAINING New Hire Orientation COMPENSATION: $17.87 USD – $21.18 USD In accordance with California law, the expected pay range for this position is included in this posting. The actual compensation will be determined based on factors permitted by law. New hires will be offered a salary at the starting point of the range to maintain internal inequity and allow opportunity for future salary growth. CII salaries are determined based on comprehensive internal and external market analysis, as well as the skills, education, and experience relevant to each position.
