PATH’s Malaria, Neglected Tropical Diseases program is a leader in the effort to end malaria illnesses and deaths, refines and develops tools and approaches, invests in national programs, and builds data to empower national governments to pursue malaria elimination. PATH seeks a Program Manager for the USG-funded Reaching every at-risk community and household with malaria services (REACH Malaria) global project. REACH aims to provide implementation support services and technical assistance to countries to accelerate progress in comprehensive delivery of life-saving facility and community-based malaria services including malaria case management, prevention of malaria in pregnancy (MiP), seasonal malaria chemoprevention (SMC), maternal and child health services including immunization and nutrition, data collection and use for service delivery, and other malaria prevention interventions. The Program Manager will report to the Deputy Project Director and will provide coordination, planning, integration, and supervision of all REACH Malaria activities, including supervision of REACH partners in Myanmar. The Program Manager will work closely with the MoH and Department of State, and provide all the necessary support to ensure the successful implementation of project activities, including work planning, budgeting, implementation of planned activities, and reporting. Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate all activities under the REACH project in Myanmar, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of targets. Provide strategic guidance and day-to-day management support to subcontracted implementing partners (IPs) to ensure effective planning, implementation, and monitoring of project interventions. Facilitate regular coordination and communication with subcontractors, stakeholders, and relevant clusters to strengthen multisectoral collaboration. Monitor project implementation progress against workplans and performance indicators, and support the timely identification and resolution of challenges. Ensure full compliance with donor requirements, PATH policies, and core humanitarian principles throughout the project cycle. Lead the preparation and submission of technical and programmatic reports, including progress updates, donor reports, and success stories. Coordinate capacity-building initiatives across all sectors for local partners, with a focus on empowering IP staff and community members to actively engage in humanitarian response activities. Support the integration of cross-cutting themes such as Protection, Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP), and feedback mechanisms from affected communities. Accurately track and report time spent on REACH project activities in line with Agreement, ensuring proper documentation for each task. Represent PATH in relevant coordination meetings, technical working groups, and other stakeholder engagements at local and national levels. Work closely with Myanmar Program Director and REACH Deputy Project Director to respond to requests for information and ensure REACH Malaria global project leadership and USG are informed in a timely manner regarding project challenges, or changes to work plans or budgets, and disseminating key results. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Program Director and REACH Deputy Project Director to ensure the success of the REACH project and contribute to broader organizational goals. Required skills and experience: Bachelors degree and at least 5 years of progressively responsible work experience required. Work experience in malaria prevention or control preferred. Experience working with MoH personnel and good knowledge of health systems and programs. A demonstrated track record of providing mentorship and supervision for strengthening healthcare services; training in quality improvement approaches; Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to facilitate program implementation. Computer skills including demonstrated hands-on-experience with MS Suite-Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Excellent verbal, written, communication and presentation skills. Knowledge of civil society organizations/NGOs/CBOs capacity assessment and building is an added value.
