About the role: PATH India is seeking the Lead for Emerging Technologies and Innovations in Digital Health to build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders such as government, donors, partners and innovators and build the Digital Health teams portfolio in this field in South Asia. Responsibilities: Strategy, Partnerships and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with Director, Digital Health for exploring scope of partnerships and business development aligned with PATHs digital health vision and developing strategies to advance these partnerships Developing, leading and managing relationships with key partners, including donors, partner organizations, research institutions, technology innovators Representing PATH in public forums and with external audience Continuously scope the external landscape for emerging technologies and innovations including but not limited to AI, telemedicine, diagnostic technologies etc. Project Development and Management: Identify, understand, and articulate innovative and emerging technology trends in Digital Health that can be applied to public health interventions at scale – and represent these ideas during ideation, solution design, and project development Structure projects that include the adaptation and adoption of technology as part of overall implementation design, at scale. Work closely with donors, partners and internal teams to emphasize the need and potential for technology applications in various public health interventions, and explicitly define the constraints and potential paths to scale adoption Oversee the defining of project scope, goals and deliverables for technology-based projects in collaboration with key stakeholders Education Qualification, Required Skills & Experience Advanced degree and/or training in Computer Science, MBA, Digital Health or other relevant fields from top-tier schools. More than 6 years of relevant experience in IT, Technology, Business Development in progressively responsible leadership roles. Deep understanding of technology trends in digital health and their implications on health care service delivery. Comprehensive understanding of South Asias development sector landscape, legal and regulatory environment, and fundraising and communication practices. Well versed with the landscape and issues around emerging technologies and innovations in Digital Health Enthusiastic and effective coalition builder, who enjoys working independently, but also thrives as a member of a high performing, peer-led team. Passionate about the promise of technology and the future of artificial intelligence and thoughtful about its potential risks.
