As a Technology Application Manager in the Finance & Procurement Application Support team, you will ideally have experience of Workday Financials or similar financial applications. Youll have an understanding of finance processes and experience in identifying and exploring opportunities for service and business improvements, the ability to collaborate effectively, and create the specification and design of solutions to meet defined business needs. Youll be an analytical thinker, methodical and well-organised, with a passion for delivering excellence. You will contribute to our purpose, striving to build a healthier nation through leading the management of high-quality applications to meet the needs of Nuffield Healths customers, beneficiaries, employees, and partners. Youll be responsible for working collaboratively as part of a multi-functional squad, focused on delivering business outcomes. As our Technology Application Manager, you will: Become a specialist in the support and development of Workday Financials and other key finance applications – developing, understanding, and employing the principles of application design, management, and the software development lifecycle Configure robust and accessible solutions that work for as many customers as possible, regardless of their needs Document your designs and processes, the data model, user interface, business logic, and security for custom applications Provide day-to-day support for the applications in your domain, including user support, training and potentially out-of-hours support Participate in support activities related to developed services/solutions, and out-of-hours support Proactively work to ensure that risks are correctly identified and logged on the risk management system and that work is scheduled and prioritised to reduce the number of risks outstanding at any time Helping you feel good.
