Employee Contract Type: Local – Temporary Job Description: Key Objectives of the Position: Provide comprehensive child protection case management services for vulnerable children within the assigned camp, ensuring timely identification, assessment, planning, and followup of all cases. Maintain accurate and confidential documentation, including completing all case management forms, preparing case plans, conducting regular home visits, and ensuring all information is submitted weekly for CPIMS entry. Facilitate case reviews, conferences, and regular monitoring, including visits to children in alternative care and childheaded households to ensure safety and wellbeing. Strengthen community-based child protection mechanisms by empowering families, foster caregivers, role models, and community membersespecially during emergencies such as monsoon and cyclone seasons. Ensure effective referral pathways, follow-up of all referred cases, and coordination with the CPiE Office, supervisor, and sector partners. Support family tracing and reunification following Child Protection SubSector guidelines and promote safe, meaningful participation of children and caregivers. Participate in monthly supervision meetings, identify personal learning needs, and provide feedback on service gaps to improve programme quality. Carry out additional child protection and child participation tasks assigned by the supervisor. Expected End Results: Project Implementation & Management: Conduct all case management responsibilities in relation to individual children within a specific camp. Fill all case management forms for children and families and submit them to the CPiE Office and Coordinator for review weekly before they are entered into the CPIMS data base. Conduct regular home visits as per the case plan for individual cases and maintain regular meaningful contact with children and families under the allocated caseload. Review all case plans regularly and facilitate specific case reviews and conference for individual children. Regular visits for children in alternative care, including child headed households. Prepare case plans for all children with cases allocated. Facilitate meetings with foster families and children in foster care and encourage children and careers to give feedback in a meaningful and protective way for all children. Conduct registration, identification, assessment and management of all child protection cases within the allocated camp and block. Follow up on all referrals for children. Attend monthly supervision meetings. Identify personal learning needs and give feedback on the service including the identification of gaps and areas for improvement. Work with communities to support the lost children during the monsoon and cyclone seasons. He/she shall empower communities and children. Facilitate family tracing and re-unification of all children that require the service as per the child protection sub sector guidelines. Undertake specific tasks allocated by your supervisor relating to child protection and participation. Facilitate the communities to identify role model and foster families and build their capacity. File and document all individual case information in a protected and safe cabin.Education: Bachelors degree preferably in any discipline preferably in Social science/Social welfare/ Psychology/Anthropology/Law/Gender studies. Post graduate degree is desirable Knowledge &Skills: Knowledge on the Rohingya refugee crisis and Response Understanding of child protection and participation Good training or facilitation skills for community members and children Community engagement and participation Good communication and networking skills Ability to speak Chittagong/Rohingya Bengali, English both written and verbal is an added advantage. Ability to work under stressful condition and adaptive to local culture and situation Experience: Minimum of 2 years working with children and families in any relevant field Work Environment: Must be willing and able to travel in camp/host location five days in a week. Project locations are in remote areas in refugee camp. Staff is expected to live in his/her based location. Salary: Negotiable Availability: Candidates with immediate joining availability will be given preference. Workplace: On-site (office-based) Number of position: 05 Employment Status: 6month contractual position, with the possibility of extension subject to donor approval.
