Employee Contract Type: Local – Temporary Job Description: Purpose of Job This position will be responsible for providing response services to survivors of GBV in Rohyinga camp in close coordination with partners in the GBV referral network. The position is based in Ukhiya and reports to the Response officer. Key Deliverables: The position is accountable for the following: Survivor-Centered Support Case Management and Referral and Documentation. Monitor and support the Girl Shine sessions in the host community Collect, compile, and securely preserve beneficiary information and field data. Maintain cooperation with prevention teams under the guidance of Response Officer Provide timely and accurate monthly reports for updates. Support and mentor outreach volunteers to enhance prevention and response efforts. Identify and strengthen community-based groups to provide support to survivors. Strengthen collaboration with community leaders, women leaders, service providers to ensure community support for survivors. Key Accountabilities Case management/Psychosocial support Document and provide professional psychosocial and confidential services to survivors of GBV, grounded in IASC Guideline on, survivor-centered case management approach. Properly & Privately document survivors information through accurate filling of intake form & ensure confidential safe storage. Serious condition survivors referred by maintained referral pathway. Organize and arrange all activities like awareness, Girl Shine, group PSS. Provide data monthly to the authorized person to update the GBVIMS. Field visit & collect data and follow up the survivors remotely Facilitate access by sexual assault survivors access to clinical care at the nearest facility Ethically and confidentially document client information through accurate filling of intake forms and ensure confidential and safe storage Support the maintenance of the IASC case management system by maintaining client confidentiality Regularly update the GBVIMS data base with information collected in the intake forms during case assessment and action plan. Partnership, Networking & Advocacy: Arrange quarterly case review meeting with GBV response officer to updated case review information through online. Make timely consent based interagency referrals for survivors in need of other services and follow-up Participate in the interagency case review meetings as need be Follow-up with service providers, community based support groups and the survivors themselves to ensure GBV survivors receive timely support Coordinate discrete home visits by the outreach volunteers that minimize potential risks to survivors and the involved staff in consultation with the response officer Maintain collaboration and cooperation with prevention team to ensure GBV prevention service in the community area under supervision of Response Officer. Strengthen and maintain networks with community leaders, women leaders, service providers and camp management to ensure that survivors receive compassionate support from the community Participate in psychosocial assessment of women registering for women center activities and support the women empowerment supervisor to run group therapy and psycho education activities at the women center. Trainings and capacity building Deliver ongoing mentorship to outreach volunteers supporting prevention and response work. Identify and build the capacity of community based groups to provide ongoing psychosocial support to GBV survivors to facilitate their long term recovery Participate in capacity building of other service providers and community based structures to ensure that survivors receive compassionate support Knowledge sharing within the team members and support to others. Conduct capacity building training with Volunteer and Facilitator and women leaders. Monitoring and evaluation Participate in the development of case management monitoring systems and ensure consistent use and application. Complete the identification/listing of survivors make a compile report & preserve it as confidential. Prepare and provide Monthly report. Participate in analysis of the data on GBV reporting trends to inform selected areas. Participate in interpretation of the analysed data on GBV reporting trends to inform intervention areas. Participate in preparation of relevant reports regarding case management services. Educational Qualifications: Bachelors degree preferably in any discipline preferably in Social science/Social work / Psychology/. Post graduate degree Knowledge &Skills: Clear Understanding on the issues project has to work on. Knowledge on current development and emergence issues Good conceptual and practical skill to write project concept paper and design documents of the project. Good knowledge and skills in forecasting and budgeting Baseline survey, Evaluation and Monitoring process and tools. Good facilitation skill of Training, Seminar and Advocacy programs. Proven management and leadership ability Good communication and networking skill Chittagong/Rohingya language skills will be taken into consideration. Good command in English & Bengali, both written and verbal. Decision making and conflict resolution skills Competent in using MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint presentation Experience:(The experience gained – including environment, timeframe and context) Ability to work under stressful condition and adaptive to local culture and situation At least 3 years relevant work experience especially Under JPF Funded Project. Work Environment: Must be able to do multiple tasks and willingness to travel in various locations of BRCR as required Salary: Negotiable Availability: Candidates with immediate joining availability will be given preference. Number of position: 2 Workplace: On-site (office-based) Employment Status: 6month contractual position, with the possibility of extension subject to donor approval.
