Employee Contract Type: Local – Temporary Job Description: Position Purpose: Case Management Officer provides responsible for field level Case management implementation as a priority defined by the Bangladesh Crisis Response Program. S/he will work closely with Case workers and project coordinator to provide relevant technical expertise and informed support to quality case management. The position is accountable for the following: Strengthen and oversee child protection case management by supervising caseworkers, reviewing follow-up actions, and ensuring all cases are handled within agreed timelines. Build capacity of field teams through training, coaching, and regular supervision to improve case management quality and consistency. Ensure strong coordination and referral mechanisms with internal teams, community structures, and external partners (Education, GBV, Site Management, Camp Coordination, CiC, CP SubSector). Maintain high standards of safeguarding compliance, proper documentation, data protection, and accurate use of CP/CM databases and reporting tools. Support effective programme implementation, including PSS activities, community engagement, accountability feedback follow-up, and participation in assessments, evaluations, and donor visits. Contribute to proposal development, reporting, planning, and budgeting in collaboration with the project team to ensure alignment with program objectives and donor requirements. Strengthen community-based child protection mechanisms by facilitating collaboration with caregivers, leaders, role models, and other stakeholders to improve child safety and well-being. Project Implementation & Management: Assist to design trainings and Provide opportunities for capacity building to field level team in case management process, procedure and relevant interventions among others. Conduct regular supervision meetings with caseworkers/assign assistant for case management to ensure the effectiveness of case management process. Review the follow up of cases, and ensure all cases are managed within acceptable timelines Work in close collaboration with the community systems to strengthen the relationship with the community in line with the referral system Work with the relevant team and stakeholders especially child protection team to ensure close links between case management and WVIs work with community based child protection mechanism, CFSs, learning centers among others Ensure internal and external referral mechanisms (with other sectors) are in place and cases are appropriately managed and followed up when referred Ensure safeguarding compliance (this include visitors and media protocols, partnering with communities and other agencies or CBOs and children participation) with World Visions policies, CPSS and standards and guidelines. Take part an implementation of case management program interventions, manage and support the PSS Program Implementation Team including Coaching with clear standards of accountability Ensure field level coordination with other sectors such as education GBV, site management and sector/Camp coordination Collaborate with teams to generate activity concept notes and review financial reports to maintain accurate spending reports and up-to-date budgets. Quality CP Program implementation and sustainability: Generate and maintain the case management and CPiE implementation plans Ensure community level participation for men, women, boys and girls taking into account local needs Follow up with Camp level accountability staff to respond to feedback from areas of implementation to strengthen case management implementation Coordinate and support establishment of CP/CM data base to contribute to the indicator reporting Develop case management activities that mainstream child safeguarding while working with other sectors. Facilitate donors field visit to ensure proper communication and relationships between World Vision and communities. Participate and review projects evaluations in close coordination with the internal and/or external evaluator. Partnership, Networking & Advocacy: Maintain professional relationship with key stakeholder of PSS related. Ensure proper communication with sector focal in camp level, tem member, supervisor and provide timely report on PSS. Ensure World Vision is appropriately represented during CiC meetings, CP focal point meetings, case conferencing, DSS camp level meetings among others. Link case workers with service providers and support effective collaboration Ensure constant and transparent communication and collaboration with relevant stakeholders, including community members, community leaders and families. Documentation, Project monitoring and evaluation: Compile quantitative and qualitative reports while updating Case management database. Facilitated allocated projects information and documentation processes, and ensure effective communication of the project results. Ensure WV participation in assessments in close coordination with the projects teams to feed into design team during the drafting of the new proposals, making sure it matches with the program objectives and donors requirements. Work closely with the team to generate proposals and reports Ensure that files, registers and computer databases are used in an appropriate and correct manner and ensure case workers adhere to proper documentation and data protection protocols. Specification:Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience: The applicants should hold a university degree in Social sciences, education or international law. Masters degree is desirable. A minimum of 2 -3-year experience in Social work/case management and emergency response. Proficient English communication skills (both oral and written) Advance knowledge of CPMS, CPIMS+ Red Cross and NGO Code of Conduct Strong interpersonal relationship and team building back ground Excellent analytical, documentation, problem solving, interpersonal and negotiation skills Possess the ability to work with different partners, local authorities, local organizations and NGOs, to develop and maintain positive collaboration and relationship. Other Competencies/Attributes: Must be ready to work in a multi-cultural environment Familiar with CFSs, Case management, peace building, community engagement, and adolescent engagement Appropriate communication skill and approachable Must have no history of violation of children rights Cross-cultural sensitivity, flexible worldview, emotional maturity and physical stamina Ability to work in and contribute to team building environment Experience: Working with computer data and data management Past exposure to working in CP/CM coordination or case management Awareness of childrens rights Past experience working in team and collaboration with partners Work Environment: Must be willing and able to travel in camp/Host locations in Ukhia. Salary: Negotiable Availability: Candidates with immediate joining availability will be given preference. Workplace: On-site (office-based) Employment Status: 6month contractual position, with the possibility of extension subject to donor approval.
