Result of Service
Design the modules of the online course in Arabic.
- Create interactive exams and quizzes using Articulate 360, Storyline 360, and Rise 360.
- Develop supplementary materials in Arabic.

Duties and Responsibilities
Background and Objective The services of an Individual Contractor (IC) are needed to assist ESCWA in developing online courses and related digital content in the Office of the Executive Secretary (OES), as outlined in this Terms of Reference. Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the design and development of the online course titled Tools for assessing regional climate models and their applications in the Arab region: from science to policymaking.
- Assist in preparing detailed storyboards for the initial stages of course production using Articulate 360, Storyline 360, and Rise 360.
- Assist in the implementation of the visual identity and branding for the course in line with ESCWA guidelines.
- Contribute to editing online content to support organizational goals and messaging themes, incorporating innovative techniques and styles and bringing a unique and artistic perspective to the project.
- Support in editing and producing multimedia content, including video editing, voice-over integration, sound design, and error correction, using professional software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Acrobat Pro.
- Design infographics from information submitted by the client to help communicate complex information simply.
- Assist in other ad-hoc activities as instructed.
Qualifications/special skills
A university degree in fine arts, graphic arts, or related field is required. All candidates must submit a copy of the required educational degree. This position requires no years of experience. Proficiency in Adobe Cloud suite of products, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Acrobat Pro, and Microsoft Office, is required. Knowledge of the latest technology and digital equipment to achieve the required results is required.

English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat; and Arabic is a working language of ESCWA. For this position, fluency in English and Arabic is required. Note: Fluency equals a rating of fluent in all four areas (speak, read, write, and understand) and Knowledge of equals a rating of confident in two of the four areas.

Recruitment for this position is on a local basis. The incumbent is required to have the legal right to live and work in the specified working location.
