About ILO
The International Labour Organization (ILO) is the only tripartite U.N. agency, since 1919 the ILO brings together governments, employers and workers of 187 member States to set labour standards, develop policies and devise programmes promoting decent work for all women and men.

To promote rights at work, encourage decent employment opportunities, enhance social protection and strengthen dialogue on work-related issues.
Vision
A world where all women and men have decent work, where work is productive and delivers a fair income, security in the workplace and social protection for families, better prospects for personal development and social integration, freedom for people to express their concerns, organize and participate in the decisions that affect their lives and equality of opportunity and treatment for all women and men.
Impact
The ILO sets international labour standards, provides technical assistance to member States, and conducts research and analysis on labour issues. Its work helps to improve working conditions, promote social justice, and reduce poverty around the world.
