IIC Job Description

The Intensive In-Community Therapist (IIC) provides services in the childs (aged 4-21) home or community. The IIC Therapist supplies a variety of mental health services, including individual and family therapy, evaluation, and counseling. Services are time-limited and should focus on transferring skills to the family and transitioning the family to community-based services and supports.

In situations where a family is assigned to both BA (Behavioral Assistant) and IIC Therapist services, both the BA and IIC Therapist work as a team to improve life domain functioning. These workers link to provide more focused and intensive complimentary services. They communicate on a consistent basis about family progress. The IIC Therapist will develop the overall treatment plan, in addition to the specific Behavioral Assistance Individual Service Plan (BAISP).

Requirements

  • Masters degree and clinical licensure (LAC, LPC, LCSW, LSW, LMFT)
  • Drivers license and vehicle
  • Fingerprint clearance (facilitated by agency after hire)
  • One-year related experience

Compensation and Benefits

  • Part-time or full-time position, flexible hours
  • $65-85 hourly rate, face-to-face session time
