ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Builds, sustains, and elevates high-impact relationships with key donors, sponsors, volunteers and community partners to ensure revenue goal achievement and foster long-term engagement. 30 %

Recruits, engages and mobilizes executives and leadership volunteers to support revenue plan s , with a focus on event chairpersons, ambassadors, and event leadership teams. 20%

Partners with Corporate & Philanthropy team members to create tailored partner and donor experiences to attract and retain high-value supporters , as well as align ing event partners with broader Society cultivation efforts to grow revenue impact beyond event s . 1 0 %

Ensures a best-in-class event experience through oversight of complex planning, logistics , brand positioning, budgets, and vendor relationships. 10%

Monitor s fundraising progress and expenses against budget and benchmarks , proactively adjusting strategies to exceed aggressive financial goals , and optimize return on investment . 10%

Effectively c onvenes and coordinates the different contributors to event success – C orporate, P hilanthropy, M arketing, c oordinator support , Are a L ead, event execution, etc. 10%

Champions community presence and brand elevation, positioning events as premier experiences that deepen public interest and engagement. 10%

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

BS/BA or equivalent experience;

4 + years successful experience in fundraising, corporate engagement, volunteer partnership, and relationship development

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

Experience d riv ing revenue through sales excellence prospecting, identification, cultivation, solicitation, evaluation, stewardship with a focus on large, multi-year partnerships.

Skilled at leading high-functioning collaborative event teams, including internal and external stakeholders, to execute event deliverables.

Creates a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives .

Demonstrated ability in handling multiple priorities, project and timeline management and planning .

Ability to proactively monitor and adjust activities to respond to changing circumstances and priorities to meet goals, proactively address issues as they arise and mitigate risks associated to events.

Able to work through others to accomplish goals ; b uilds support for ideas among key stakeholders and decision makers

Proven relationship building, persuasion and influence skills.

Ability to recruit, train and motivate executive , C-suite level & high influence leadership volunteers.

Strong customer service orientation, with extensive experience in effectively addressing and resolving issues.

P roactively monitor s data and adjust s activities to respond to changing circumstances and priorities to meet goals

Strong market, community and constituent knowledge & experience .

Effectively builds formal and informal networks, both inside and outside the organization ; leverages knowledge and network to remove barriers and achieve outcomes .

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Limited travel to meetings, training & events

Expectation of being external in the market an average of 3 days per week

Must be able to attend evening and weekend meetings, events and programs.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Some lifting as part of event set up activities

The starting rate is $70,000 to $77,000. The final candidate’s relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
